Outside The Box?
While the floors both upstairs and downstairs were finished yesterday marking the end of our sleeping, showering and "where the hell is everything," logistical issues, we did have one little mis-calculation. Upon arriving home at the instructed hour, we were assaulted with truly awful fumes that made sleeping inside less than prudent. As it was late, we had already burned the sensible options generously offered, so we had to go with an alternative plan. While the fashioning of tools out of duct tape was not necessary, Hermann had to once again employ his superior skills with cardboard boxes and follow them up with his best Bambi's mom imitation. We call it our big neighborhood camping expedition as opposed to "3 weeks to go and sleeping on a cardboard box in front of the house." My Heater, My Hero...
Oh yeah...it snowed this morning shortly after we went inside...
