Look Mom, No Earplugs!

Sweet Vi, plugged through another new experience last Friday as she toughed out her first 15 hour festival day. She bravely rolled under tents being erected, selected wood at Home Depot without getting splinters, lobbied for staff naps, cited the clear stupidity of the line-up and shed needed light on the glaring lack of a milk geared beverage area. She is not so sure she would ever want to be involved in this ridiculous line of work, but she sure did make her mom teary proud.

Uno, Dos, Tres Mariachis!

Auntie Ashley's Birthday at El Noa Noa. Ole!

Survey Says?

We are asking that the real Nolan-Flood gang please step forward.

The tired people as well as Yoko Ono and John Lennon are completely stumped...

Aunt Kate and Uncle Thom rock!

4 weeks, 5 weeks...

Just a few fresh snaps to keep ya in the loop. So many changes are visible to us every day, but I'm not so sure that is true of the naked-eyed onlooker. Suffices to say, she is way more alert and as she doesn't seem to blink, we just keep her away from dust storms, flying pencil points and that shedding four-legged creature. Clearly our ability to keep her away from other harmful household items is questionable.

2 Weeks. 3 Weeks.

So many changes logged. There were smiles that we are sure had nothing to do with bodily functions, a raised eyebrow, the miraculous disappearance of dry skin, numerous water, basketball and work related adventures and a greater knowingness behind her constantly darting and (lets face it) occasionally crossing little eyes.

Washed Up

First bath. First bath. Everyone says this is such a big deal. As you can see, it certainly was for Violet. The occasion would have been better caught on video so the audio track could accurately express her high pitched wails. Poor girl. We hope she hasn't been too traumatized. Will try again soon.

Still Life With Umbilical Nub

Violet is proud to announce the shedding of her shriveled up umbilical nub. It was tenderly cared for during its 9 day run, but still found unexpectedly hanging out in the back of some girly pink pajamas. We wish it the best and welcome a rather wonderful little belly button.
